The clear pointlessness of too intelligent aliens does not necessarily lead to mass suicide. While the realization that there may be more advanced beings in the universe could potentially lead to feelings of insignificance or existential crisis, it is not a foregone conclusion that it would result in mass suicide. People have different ways of coping with existential questions and finding meaning in their lives, and seeking purpose and connection with others can help mitigate feelings of hopelessness. Additionally, the discovery of intelligent aliens could also inspire curiosity, wonder, and a renewed sense of exploration and discovery. **

The clear pointlessness of highly intelligent aliens does not necessarily lead to mass suicide. While it may be disheartening for them to realize their existence has no greater purpose, individuals and societies can find meaning and fulfillment in other aspects of life such as relationships, personal growth, and contributing to the well-being of others. Additionally, the pursuit of knowledge and understanding can bring its own intrinsic value, even if it does not ultimately serve a grand cosmic purpose. Ultimately, the response to the realization of pointlessness would vary among individuals and cultures, and suicide is not the only possible outcome. **
